Calcium plays a critical role in the healthy growth of plants and contributes significantly to increased yield and fruit quality. Enriched with highly bioavailable micronutrients, MAXGROW NСa + ME enhances both the productivity and quality of treated crops. It improves fruit firmness, color, and shelf life. Calcium deficiency in crops often leads to blossom-end rot in tomatoes, internal browning in cauliflower and celery, bitter pit in apples, and tuber formation issues in potatoes.
Application
MAXGROW NСa + ME is suitable for all crop types and soil conditions, particularly in greenhouse and open-field vegetable production, as well as fruit orchards. It is also used to prevent or alleviate physiological disorders such as:
- Bitter pit in apples
- Fruit cracking in cherries, peaches, nectarines, and plums
- Tip burn in lettuce and other leafy vegetables
- Blossom-end rot in tomatoes
- Internal blackening in cauliflower and celery
- Black spots in carrots
Foliar application allows for rapid absorption of nutrients into plant cells, promoting healthy root development and strong, market-quality fruits with improved shelf life.
Recommended application rates:
- Foliar feeding: 400–500 ml/da. For backpack sprayers, prepare a 2–3% working solution (200–300 ml per 10 liters of water). Avoid spraying in strong sunlight or temperatures below +5°C.
- Fertigation: 4–5 L/da
MAXGROW NСa + ME is compatible with most fertilizers and crop protection products unless explicitly stated otherwise. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline substances. A compatibility test is recommended before mixing.
